Mailing Children via Post (6/6)

It was once a common practice for postman to deliver children. Seriously! You could mail children in 1913. The postal stamp was posted on their dress and sometimes, even on their forehead. A law was hastily passed to make this practice illegal as several people had started sending their kids via mail.

This proves that either the post offices were trusted a lot back then or people just didn’t care about the kids like they do now.
